General Terms and Conditions

This Offer is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

“Hertz” is Hertz Europe Limited of 11 Vine Street, Uxbridge, UB8 1QE, United Kingdom.
Only direct recipients of the email from Hertz with the link to the Offer, who are current Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members, are eligible to participate in the Offer (“Participants”).
To benefit from the Offer, Participants must refer a friend by clicking on the link in the email during the relevant Offer Period and following the steps contained within. For the benefits of the Offer to be awarded the referred friend must enrol in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards during the Offer Period and make a Qualifying Rental during the Offer Period. “Qualifying Rental” is a passenger vehicle rental (minimum 1 day rental and no longer than 28 days in duration, at a Participating Location booked through your Hertz Gold Profile that will commence and conclude within the Offer Period, for the amount of at least $25 (excluding any ancillary services or products). The referred friend’s Hertz Gold Plus Rewards member number must be on the reservation for the Qualifying Rental. Standard rental qualifications and restrictions apply.
“Participating Locations” is any Hertz location in the following countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Czech & Slovak Republics.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, Hertz reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Offer without prior notice.
The Offer is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash or credit alternative is offered.

Referral Discount Offer Terms and Conditions

Offer will run until the 31^st of December (“Offer Period”).
To benefit from the Offer, a Participant must:
Already be a member of Gold Plus Rewards;
Click the link in the InsideFlyer Premium Membership email during the Offer Period;
Follow the steps contained within the email to refer a friend;
The referred friend must enrol to Gold Plus Rewards during the Offer Period; and
The referred friend must make at least one Qualifying Rental during the Offer Period.
“Offer”: Participant and referred friend will receive 20% off their next Hertz vehicle rental.
The Offer is redeemable within 30 days of the date of received Offer.
Rental vehicle pick up must be within 60 days of the date of received Offer.
The 20% off discount apply to all mandatory rental costs excluding taxes, fees, surcharges, one way drop off fees and optional extras such as child seats, additional drivers and fuel which are charges at normal rates.
Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or promotion.
Offer is only available in Participating Locations in Europe and on a variety of car groups, but may vary by location and country and subject to availability.
All rentals are subject to Hertz standard terms and conditions.
A Participant cannot refer themselves.
This offer is not applicable when referring a friend who has already enrolled into Gold Plus Rewards.

Personal Data

Hertz is committed to protecting Participants’ privacy. Any personal information supplied by Participants will be used and processed by Hertz or its associated group companies solely for the purpose of administering the Offers and for marketing purposes.
Privacy Policy. Personal data supplied during the course of these Offers may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the Offers.
The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.
You will be contacted by Hertz for the purposes of administrating the Offers or in the event that Hertz wishes to discuss any other use of the information submitted to the Offers.
Hertz reserves the right to publish the name and location of the participant or to publicise any benefit giving presentation after the date of the Offers. Participants may be required to participate in publicity related to the Offers which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.

Disclaimer

Hertz reserves the right to void the Offers at any time and change these terms and conditions.
Hertz reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any benefit if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of these Offers.
Hertz shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under these Offers. However, nothing in these terms shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Hertz’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of its employees or contractors.
In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the Offers, the decision of the Directors of Hertz is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
