De International Airlines Group (IAG) gaat Wi-Fi aanbieden middels de technologie 2Ku van GoGo. Dit zal beschikbaar komen op veel vluchten van British Airways, Iberia en Aer Lingus. In totaal zullen 4 Aer Lingus toestellen, 116 British Airways toestellen en 15 Iberia Long Haul toestellen worden uitgerust met Wi-Fi. De Iberia en Aer Lingus A330 toestellen zijn al uitgerust met de Panasonic GCS technologie en zullen niet worden voorzien van de GoGo technologie. De prijs die IAG zal vragen is nog niet bekend gemaakt.

2Ku Wi-Fi GoGo

2Ku Wi-Fi van GoGo is de nieuwste technologie en zal in staat zijn om bijvoorbeeld Netflix en Amazon te streamen op een goede snelheid en kwaliteit. Volgens GoGo zal de Wi-Fi even snel zijn als thuis. Tevens zal het entertainment worden uitgebreid door middel van streaming en zal het mogelijk zijn om Duty Free te bestellen (en thuis af te leveren).

Het eerste toestel met 2Ku Wi-Fi van GoGo zal een British Airways B747-400 zijn en zal begin volgend jaar vliegen. Iberia en Aer Lingus zullen de toestellen later in 2017 laten vliegen met Wi-Fi aan boord. Begin 2019 zullen alle onderstaande toestellen voorzien zijn van Wi-Fi.
