Rotterdam Hilton Update 20 dec 2014: Second time that the executive lounge is bad. Hilton Rotterdam is selling their rooms cheap in weekend and giving updates to regular guests. Conclusion is that lounge is crowded and that Hilton is serving less and bad products at their lounge. To bad, this lounge was very good 6 months ago but is losing their Elite status.

Hilton Den Haag is een prima hotel, leuke buurt en prima kamers. Ontbijt is ook altijd in orde. Hotel is modern en het Kon.Paleis is op 10 minuten! In het weekend gratis parkeren als je 200 meter verder parkeert. Executielounge stond onder druk de laatste maanden, service was simpel hier. Ook hier helaas geen sterke dranken meer. Update 26 december 2015 I visit the pool yesterday and the water was warm and clean. The Hilton Millenium pool is indoor and heated. There is also a life duty guard at the pool. The pool has all the USA safety equipment and the view is great. I also shoot a video The fitness is right at the hallway and is easy to combine with the pool. I did a workout and there are complimentary headphones. The view is at the new WTC (9/11 museum) The fitness equipment is new and up to date. I also shoot a video here. Another day at breakfast: This morning, december 26, I had breakfast at 9:00 hours and I was welcomed by Katie ( F&B manager) and his crew. The Fresh Salmon was back on the buffet and I got a nice table with a 5-star view at the new WTC. The waiter Azir greeted me with his daily morning smile. Next to my was a very rude lady with a big camera, she was rude to the staff. Sometimes I hope that a F&B manager can tell customers what they deserve. (like: Get the hell out of my hotel, rude lady....) I ordered 3 eggs over-easy, they were not really good, the eggs were not really over-easy, tomorrow a second chance. As Hilton HHonors Diamond member I did receive breakfast vouchers. The vouchers can be used for the full breakfast including Made to Order Eggs. Regular price for breakfast is $24. Conclusion after 2 days: The Hilton Millenium is doing a great job, service is good, products are fresh and the staff are very friendly. Later this week I will visit the 2 bars in the hotel.
Hilton Millenium New York update 28DEC From 24 december till january 1 HiltonHotelsFanclub will do a 8 nights review at the Hilton Millenium New York. Update 28 december 2015 After 4 days at this Hilton Millenium things are going well, yesterday I tested the bar service at their bar and restaurant Church & Dey. The hotel has 2 bars, one at the lobby and one at their 3th floor. The lobby bar is small and does it jobs well for having a fast drink. The bar at their 3Th floor is combined with their restaurant Church & Dey. I did not have diner, but I went for some drinks. I had 2 Baileys with a total cost of $13 each, about $28 total! These prices are much too high for leisure guests and I do not recommend this bar for a regular family, it will cost you big money! These prices are for business accounts and I can advise that you go for a drink in a local bar. The name of the barkeeper was Douglas and he was nice, we had some small talk about computers but he was honest and real. For a Saturday at 21.00 hours it was quiet, about 4 guest at the diner tables and I was alone at the bar. The waitress was nice and offered me diner. I had already eaten so this was no option for me. At 22.00 hours some guest joined me at the bar. I think that most hotel customers will not return with these high bar prices. Baileys at the bar Church and Dey, 13 dollar a glass! Delivery at my room: I ordered some packages from Amazon to test if they would arrive and if the hotel would charge me a handling fee. The products were delivered without a charge to my room, so this is a nice service. Package delivered to my room at no charge Conclusion after 4 days: The Hilton Millenium is doing a great job, service is good, products are fresh and the staff are very friendly. The prices at the bars are to high and this is wrong management to keep your customers. Later this week I will test the concierge service for some dinner reservations in the hotel or area.
