Heeft iemand tips voor een mileage run binnen OneWorld? Ik heb nog 3000 miles nodig voor het einde van het jaar (AA)..

Niet echt mileage run-materiaal, maar ik zag een paar dagen geleden wat retourtjes naar eastcoast VS vanaf Brussel en Amsterdam met BA voorbijkomen voor ongeveer €400,=. Misschien dat dat een idee is? Niet echt een extreem goede deal maar als je de miles nodig hebt, kan je het altijd overwegen! Waren wel allemaal overstaptijden <1,5 uur voor die prijs, dus de kans is aanwezig dat je ze niet gaat redden... Nu scheelt het dat er tussen Londen en New York meer vluchten gaan dan er treinen tussen Amsterdam en Brussel rijden, maar toch !

Ik geloof dat RTM/AMS-DFW vv. met BA en/of US voor €450 te boeken is, dat is milestechnisch dan weer een iets betere deal.

Als het je puur om redeemable miles gaat, zou je een goedkope open jaw van Etihad naar het Verre Oosten kunnen pakken! Meer miles en rond de 350-400 euro, afhankelijk van de bestemming.

Do you know the rules about Maximum Permissible Mileage? The AA / AY / BA / IB joint venture do their routings based on this rule, and you can normally add in an extra 25% on the mileage flown (or 50% start-to-end cities distance) for something like 20EUR + taxes.

Right now there are fares under €500 to the USA on OW. They are all over the blogs.

As an example I did BRU-LHR-JFK r/t and it came out €493. Could be much cheaper but I didn't have time to search deeper.

Probeer eens te zoeken bij US airways naar NYC of PHI vanaf AMS of BRU, komen weleens fares voorbij van rond de €380,-
